The research programme of this network focuses on specific themes
that share similar multi-scale and multi-physics features and involves
collaboration between different nodes of the network.
Themes I,II,III are centered around and connected through the
unifying features in the numerical simulations of the physical and
engineering applications under consideration. The simulations are
computationally intensive due to multiplicity of scales and require
development and analysis of novel, computationally robust, and
efficient tools.
Theme I: |
Phase Field and Diffuse Interface Models |
Theme II: |
Polymeric
Fluids |
Theme III: |
Connecting
Microscopic and Continuum Models in Computations |
The EPSRC funded network provides a framework and resources for
pursuing collaborative research and exploring innovative methodology for
multi-scale computations in various fields of applications.
