(a functional analytic approach) (Mini Course):
In the last years many new ideas have appeared to investigate the
statistical properties of dynamical systems (e.g., decay of
correlations,
stochastic stability, CLT et.). Each one of such ideas provides a
conceptual framework to investigate statistical properties and may
yield
new results in the near future. After a brief review of such points of
view I will concentrate on a particular one (the functional analytic
one)
explaining its main features in a series of examples of increasing
complexity.
